One-out-of-four undergrads sign-up for Laurie Santos’ class “Psychology and the Good Life”

March 26, 2018

Laurie Santos’ class Psychology and the Good Life has made the news (NBC Nightly News, Today Show, NYTimes, GQ, National Review) both for being the largest class in Yale history, and for its unusual approach. With the goal of “rewiring the mind” to adopt better habits, homework assignments include meditating for 10 minutes, keeping a “gratitude journal”, and performing random acts of kindness.

The class has proven so popular that Yale has released it to the general public via Coursera. For more info, see the YaleCourses YouTube channel.
