Congratulations to Dr. April Bailey, who has been named a co-winner of the 2020 James Grossman Dissertation Award. The Grossman Award recognizes the author of an outstanding Ph.D. dissertation in Psychology. Dr. Bailey’s dissertation, Men at the Center: Androcentric Bias in Cultural Practices and Cognitive Structure, is a theoretically rich and empirically ambitious scholarly work that embodies the characteristics of James Grossman’s scholarship, such as creativity and incorporation of other disciplines.
