Christina Roberto Wins Graduate School Public Scholar Award

Yale's Graduate School Public Scholar Award recognizes a graduate student whose research has the capacity to transform social policy and aid the community at large. Christina Roberto's research in nutrition standards and policy already has been cited in court decisions upholding New York City's restaurant menu labeling requirements and in the development of federal menu labeling requirements in the recent health care bill signed by President Obama.
