I am a graduate student working with Laurie Santos in the Comparative Cognition Lab (http://caplab.yale.edu/).
Broadly, I am interested in taking a comparative perspective to examine the evolution of human social cognition. Specifically, I intend to study the development of perspective taking abilities and other social behaviors in both nonhuman primates. By mapping out the developmental trajectory of certain social behaviors in nonhuman primates I hope to better understand how human-unique experiences such as formal schooling, language, and environment affect the rate and order of development.
