Brandon Carrillo, a fifth‑year PhD student in our program, has earned second place in Yale’s 10th annual Three‑Minute Thesis (3MT) Competition. His thesis was titled “A Child’s Perspective on Those that Care for Them.”
Now a decade long tradition, the 3MT challenges doctoral students to convey the significance and impact of their research in a concise, engaging, and accessible three‑minute presentation for a broad audience. Participants first compete in four divisional preliminary rounds, with the top presenters advancing to the university‑wide finals that were held on March 26.
Congratulations, Brandon!
