Hillary is a graduate student in the clinical area at Yale and works in the Clark Relationship Science Laboratory. Broadly, she is interested in experiences of empathic emotion and is currently investigating how the mere experience of empathic positive emotion can impact self-perceptions and prosocial behavior with her mentor, Dr. Margaret Clark. She has also studied interpersonal processes, such as empathy, as they relate to trait positive emotion and mania risk with Dr. June Gruber and is an affiliated graduate student of the Positive Emotion and Psychopathology (PEP) Lab at CU Boulder.
