Amber is a doctoral candidate in the lab of Dr. Jane Taylor. She is investigating manipulations of memory reconsolidation as a treatment for addiction. Specifically, Amber is interested in how memory reconsolidation manipulations can reduce relapse-like behavior, and she is interested in investigating the neuroanatomical substrates and molecular basis underlying this phenomenon. To answer these questions, Amber conducts experiments using rodent models of cocaine self-administration.
