I am a graduate student working with Laurie Santos in the Comparative Cognition Lab (http://caplab.yale.edu/).
Broadly, I am interested in taking a comparative perspective to examine the evolution of human social cognition. Specifically, I intend to study the development of perspective taking abilities and other social behaviors in both children and nonhuman primates. By mapping out the developmental trajectory of certain social behaviors in nonhuman primates I hope to better understand how human-unique experiences such as formal schooling, language, and environment affect the rate and order of development.
