Aleena is a clinical graduate student at Yale in the Clark Relationship Science Laboratory. She is interested broadly in emotion regulation processes and is currently studying relational context factors and individual differences that influence interpersonal emotion regulation with Dr. Margaret Clark. Aleena has recently become interested in the neuroendocrine system as it relates to emotion regulation processes. She also studies the psychopathology of bipolar disorder and explores emotion regulation as a way to understand dysfunction in this disorder with Dr. June Gruber and is an affiliated student of the PEP lab at CU Boulder. Aleena received her Bachelor of Arts from Skidmore College and is originally from New Paltz, New York.
